whoa, if you have built in audio on your motherboard then your set for gaming. are gonna be having a sound system? if not dont waste money on those.

oops , i didn't know i had audio in my Mobo, so since i have intergrated audio do i still need a sound card just for regular stuff like games and a bit of music.

if your just going to do some gaming and listening to music, you probably wont need a sound card, unless you really want one. You wont need it though.

yeah, stick with integrated. its good sound and its free with the mobo.

(esp. if you have like 8 channels on it like mine)

i dunno about u guys, but all i have got w/ intergrated audio is problems. i have had to send my comp in 2 times cuz my sound wasnt working.. good thing i had warranties cuz it wouldve cost me a lot of money. so i got a simple like $20 sound card and its 20x better than my intergrated was. easy to fix problems.
