Damage plan sucks.

They were good when you consider they came out around the same time as the "emo" outbreak did - half the time they were the only decent thing on the likes of MTV2 before the viewers get their ears mauled by something by My Chemical Romance. Not in any way as good as Pantera (obviously), but not bad, and very, very, good live.

Make sure it's Pantera or Damageplan if you have any - woulda been Dimebag Darrels 39th Birthday today.

(for those of you who dunno who I'm on about - legendary guitarist, one of the best in our generation from Pantera and Damageplan, was killed in December).

Pantera ain't bad. But the first song I listen to every morning is either Metallica - Fuel (this being my alarm clock ) and the next one Metallica - One. No need for fuel if I don't have to wake to school. But to One I listen to every morning, it's just a part (prolly the best one ) of my daily routine.

Fair enough - though I personally prefer Machine Head's "Imperium" as my alarm clock; the intro wakes you up gently, and if I'm lazy and ignore it, the sudden jolt of noise fills the whole room until I get up. Either that or Motorheads Ace of Spades.

Im so lazy that I can't start with One. If Id do that I'd wake up at the end, and would miss the lovely beginning. Fuel starts fast, so it wakes me up instantly.

Oh damn, I should go to work soon. But I busted my knee last evening so it's hard to walk.
