Problem with Freezing

Ok well I've installed all the drivers and what not but now it's freezing on me everytime I try and play guild wars or even just stay on for a period of time.
Why is this?

is that the problem? the video card?
Why would the video card effect the computer by making it freeze?
and how would I be able to stop this?

Not sure but does the video card require it's own power connector?

When I installed my 6600 GT my brother and I didn't see it needed it's own power and that made it mess up big time.

no it doesn't it's a basic video card I couldn't afford a better one.
But it's kinda getting on my nerves because it keeps freezing when I go to start playing.

Hmm, all I could think of is maybe the ram..

I have 512 Dual channel... would I possibly need more?

No, but it could be bad.. Becuse if your saying your computer freezes even when your not playing guild wars I would think maybe bad ram.

because it happened once to me when installing an OS was bad ram.

really... well I'll try and find a ram testing program or something and let everybody know if thats the problem.

I think I've figured it out, it may be the fact that I only have512 of ram and Guildwars says you should have atleast 512 jsut for the game soI'l pick up more ram tomorrow.
