internet plz help

why the hell are my gettin disconnected every like 5 mins my msn gets disconnected and my xfire gets cut off and when im playing mohaa it lags when it disconnects then comes on again any suggestions would be much obliged

what kind of internet do you have? If it's dial up, it could just be the amount of users near you... all using the same connection as you and clogging up the bandwidth. If it's dsl or cable... it could be a faulty ethernet cable, an internal issue with your mobo, or, maybe with the modem for your dsl or cable. Have you tried your internet with any other comptuer? And, also, please post the specs of your computer. Thanks.

Check ur internet options from windows and also check the modem's options. I doubt that there is going to be anything wrong in there since the internet works somehow but we really can't give u much help without knowing the type of internet that u use.

i am using a adsl router it is split three ways to three pcs and all three are disconnecting
