Monitor Promblem

I am having problems with my 17" flat screen LG Flatron monitor. It is starting to get a slight shadow and really effects you when you are trying to read stuff on the net and even playing games!!???? It is only 4 years old!??

does this mean that the monitor has gone and need to buy a new one??? or is there a way to fix it????

If i need to buy a new one what would you all suggest for a 17" LCD screen?? (Quality and last for awhile?)

Try going into the menu on your monitor and hitting refresh? Or the other word is like something gauze or something

4 years for a flat? yeah man, it's lived it's life.
can't say the same for my old packard bell monitor, 15", 10 years old, lol
still works! =\
