Good Card under $300

Im getting a new AGP card soon. I have a budget of $300. The cards im looking at right now are the:

eVGA 6800GT for $294

What card would you suggest?

I would go with the 6800.

I was looking at the features of the x800xl and it says it's crossfire ready, is it crossfire ready because if it is thats cool.

if newegg says its crossfire ready then you can be %99.99 sure it is. I would reccomend getting a crossfire ready mobo, then just running one x800, then later down the road instead of swapping it out for a pci-e card, you could throw in another card, and im sure it would compete with a lot of pci-e cards out there.

Although if your looking for just one, id say go with the 6800

what I think I will do though is buy the 6800GT now and then save up so I could build my own SLi or Crossfire computer for when Vista comes out. Hopefully the 6800GT will last that long.

The 6800GT WILL last that long, if it doesn't, that means computer technology will zoom past everything so fast that technology itself will combust.

whoah this is wierd I just was on pricegrabber.com and there is a card that is $389 dollars on newegg but when I looked on pricegrabber for it tigerdirect has it for $250. On newegg the card is OEM too.
