Now that is a cheap system. Total price not including tax: $332.64 US

$700 Australian dollars is $534.431 USD for anyone else who tries to help acottenham out.

You can use xe.com to convert money.

Acottenham, what do you have in your computer now? You can probably keep some of it to save $$$.

Yeah im in Australia. my computer is crap as so i want to upgrade the whole thing, though i can keep my 40gb hard drive, case, monitor, mouse, keyboard and dvd/cd burner. Basically i need the motherboard, cpu, memory and graphics card... (i think thats all i will need????!!)

The motherboard I pointed out on the previous page is pretty good. You can go with any MSI motherboard. They are super good. Get a Sempron CPU for budget purpose. For memory, again, refer to the previous page for my suggestion. If you want to spend more on that, get it up to 512MB at least. The graphics card from Leadtek I picked for you is also good too because it supports DirextX 9. IT's still a basic card though.

The games that would be played on it would be doom, diablo 2, Nfs underground 1/2, WOW (world of world craft) and what eva grabs my attention!!
