Fandango is the amazing Count Constantine Bartholomew Fandango, Lord Kalthorn's Mentor in times of trouble and need. He is Count of Balphazzar, and was stranded in Balphazzar Tower when the Balhozer, a great River in which Balphazzar is merely a huge island was flooded by Hu'Zak through the power of Taldona (he had killed her by this point). He was left there for thousands of years, playing chess against himself until when in search of Ka's mythic race, a race created before even Eethbert created the Thalmorians all those years before Lord Kalthorn chances across Fandango moping in his tower, too honourable to commit Suicide, incapable of swimming the great expanse of sea the Balhjozer had become. They find the mythic race, join them in glorious battle with impossible odds, are practically destroyed as Mace finally places, although with the loss of his own life, the Orb of Light upon the Plinth on which is must be placed, releasing Eethbert to help Kalthorn's Army and in spiritual form, with the power of Ka, defeats Kimanchou, Jon'La and Hu'Zak. Fandango dies gloriously in the battle.
