I'm looking into getting a new computer for video editing, and Mac is the best in the market. Should I get a Mac or look into something else?

Ok, so no mac, but would the AMD or the Pentium Processor be better t get?

the intel is supposed to be ok for video editing, but i personaly am choosing the amd X2. its reviews are far better than intels dual core
