well my @ button is on the " one and some other ones are muddled why? how do i get it back to normal?

We had this problem in school sometimes (through no fault of our own, I might add)

It seems to do that when your keyboard randomly switches between US and UK keyboard layouts.

On a UK Keyboard, the @ appears on the same key as the apostrophe, whereas the " appears on the same key as the 2.

Interesting... I still want to know how they came up with the keyboard layouts.

controll panel then click regional and languages and change from us to uk you will have to reboot after the change
