I am sure it probably is better. But I doubt that many systems would really require you to have it. A lot of people do it for show. If you have the money might as well show it.

Not necessarily Chris, It also depends on your hardware as well (prescott core for instance =).

Water cooling is definitely better. fans are noisy and sometimes don't cool as efficently. Water cooling is almost silent, very efficent,and will most likely extend your cpu's life because it won't be overheating as much.
