The Book Thread

Hey, maybe we could make this like , "The Official Book Thread" And have it stickied and stuff! lol

I was at Barnes N Noble today looking at computer books. (In other words I gave up trying to find valid Ebooks online) And I had a really hard time deciding which ones I would get! I bet it would be a good idea for everyone to talk about some books they learned alot from and make it easier to decide on what to buy.


For instance Today I got four books;
Learning PHP 5
Silence on the Wire
Steal this FileSharing Book &
The Fifth Edition of Hacking Exposed


Anyone heard of these? They sound promising, They were the finalists out of about 40 books lol Got rid of 36

I've got a new book called Java Script for Dummies. Haven't even touched it yet, I'll get into it eventually when I take a class on it in a few quarters down the road.

Lol, I read that one, the for dummies series has some pretty good stuff, I actually learned all I know on javascript from it
