I got a chuckle out of that...

I think you'll find that the Oxford project appeared to work but didn't, unless of course you know different, I am very interested in fusion power, I just hope it comes about before I shuttle off this mortal coil, what's your view, LK, how long before it's up & working, appreciate an answer this time please.Lord Kalthorn said:Shouldn't matter, we'll all be using nice happy safe Fusion Power in time anyway, then it won't matter at all! They have it working on Oxford... it is only time before they can get it working permanently and built a production version.
acphenom said:Hell no. Intel make terrible CPU's. All they are is clock speeds and hyper-threading. They consume far too much energy and run way too hot. AMD's have HyperTransport, Memory Controller etc. and consume far less power and run a lot cooler. My Athlon 64 2800+ has been fine.
I heard P4's were hard to place into the motherboards too, so i'd say they are more vulnerable to breaking.
