Compaq

This girl that I know on AIM has a compaq computer that doesn't have enough memory. Now I told her that I could toss in my old 512 stick and it'd fix her prob. Now i'm wondering have any of you guys worked on them? ANd if so how hard was it?

Depends. Different companies use different methods of putting their computers together. Usually they have 2 thumb screws that are big enough for you to unscrew yourself, but sometimes their on too tight, so it requires a screwdriver to do it.

No i'm wondering if anyone has worked on a compaq before. If so how difficult was it. I'm just throwing in a thick of ram.

Putting the ram in should be quite easy. Unless it's a damn small case and the wires are on your way. Still shoudn't be a too big problem.
