thx slayer but there are no values on the cap next to it (which is similiar) or any other cap on that mobo and i dont have another mobo i can look at...ive got a BIG paperweight that i would love to fix. any further help would be appreciative....sant

thx money, i fixed pcb boards down to the component level, trust me i know. but i think my friend had it hooked up to the phone line during a storm cuz that is one of two caps near the RJ11 telephone connector and that is the only thing that doesnt work. tho it is the only way this friend can get on to the internet, it communicates well with the modem when queried but does not detect a dial tone... so.. i think this cap that blew is the prob and it should work aok... JUST GOTTA GET THAT VALUE. THX..
