I have right now a 2.6 p4 cpu. I always oc to 3.2 but now when i oc i see no differance in speed. actually it seems faster at 2.6 lol. I also have a 6600gt and it seems like the graphics is the problem but when i make the settings all low i get like 40 fps average. Should i buy a new pentium 4 or should i upgrade to a higer vid card.

OCing will wear a chip down from the process faster than just allowing it to remain unclocked...What I think is that you have an issue with being out of sync with the graphics card and cpu...Both have worn a little so the settings from the board will not be perfect or even close...

My suggestion is to reset everything totally back to original settings including the vid card and then slowly re do the OCing. It will be more than likely totally different settings than what you previously had but should do you for a little while longer.

Try not to overcloak too much :D
It could fry your CPU or just cause some damage ... haha i've heard of many times where that has happened :p
You'll be fine with what Lurkswithin said :D
