im trying to mod counter strike but i cant get the rar files to work, and the first time i downloaded a rar file i tried to open it with counter strike sdk i beleive, and te box was checked that it is to always open that kinda file with that program, i need to get that box unchecked but im not sure how to because everytime i try and open it it opens with sdk, i wanna have to choose a program because i have this winrar porgram that make the rar files work, but because it is also a rar file it tries to open with sdk. please wut am i supposed to do

rar is a newer form of the common zip format - its better and kinda taking over. here is the program that will extract it so you can use your mod:

YA winrar rules over winzip. much more managable.
