you screw the motherboard into your chassis case(make sure you have risers underneath to screw into). The once the motherboard is in the cpu simply fits into the slot shaped like a box .

NOTE: Make sure the heatsink/fan is attached to your cpu... if applying your own thermal paste use only a thin even coat.
