H Help? Beta member Messages 4 Jul 31, 2005 #1 recently my brothers computer shut down from a virus. so what i did is reformat the harddrive. now i ahve to reinstall the os. when i start installing it says that windows cannot detect a harddrive or mass storage device.. wtf? please help..
