Cant Find Adapter

Hi,
I have a modem and no router and my NIC card has only one port so i cant play xbox live and be online on my computer at the same time, my modem also has a firewire to usb that i can use simultaneously but i dont have an adapter to switch it from usb to ethernet, ive looked all over the net and cant find one, my friend one but there is no brand name on it so i was wondering if someone could tell me of one.

It's got a bunch of adapters including USB to ethernet.

well i meant more of a thing where you plug a usb into it and then get an ethernet at the other end but i can use this as firewire to ethernet

It's USB, not firewire. Just plug the USB into your modem, use an adapter to convert the other end into ethernet, and plug it into your computer.
