thunderbird password??

I found out that my dad has been sneakin around reading my emails. I need to put a password on thunderbird. I could go back to outlook if I can put a pw on it. This pw isnt to recieve or send mail but to look at the inbox and the other folders. is this possible?

use hotmail, or something else like yahoo, or gmail, because if he thinks that you only have 1 email account he can only look at the one that you are basicly letting him look at, and the second one he will never kno about unless hes keyloggin ur computer tho i dont kno any dad that knos how to do that

You'd be surprised how many dads like sneaking and invading your privacy ... but i too never knew how they could be so desperate as to keylog your computer
I'd use hotmail or gmail, i use hotmail because most of my contacts are on it but gmail is better
