my computer got struck by lightning

Be very careful. Take the PSU out and make sure that you handle it carefully. Now with it out take a screw driver and ground out the 12v red wire of any one of the 4 prong molex connectors to the PSU case. once that happens then it should be ok to handle but don't do it while it is still in the pc...take it completely out.

now unscrew the side screws on the psu case and remove the cover...inside just below the power cord attaching connector you should find a replacable fuse. match the fuse up and replace it and put it all back together. Not in the computer yet.
If you have an ohm meter then you can plug the
thing in and check the volts across all the wires. you will have to compare the volts to what is printed on the case and if nothing there then you can go to website and match them up that way. If any of the volts are more than what it is supose to be..get a new PSU as it will fry your board...
