Can i have wireless and wired??

Ok, right now I have 2 computers connected on a wired router. I just got a laptop in place of one of the computers. So I was wondering, would I be able to go from the DSL modem to the Desktop, and then from the desktop to a wirless router?

Should I just get a wireless card for the desktop?

(but is there anyway I can do the first option?)

Certainly you can, I actually have to do this on my own LAN. It's especially easy if the wireless router has a RJ45 port, because if it does you can just connect the two routers via RJ45.

you can buy a router that has wireless but also has ports on it for a wired network.

we call it wired wireless lol
