hi, i am stuck! i am trying to reformat/clear my computer because it has too much stuff i dont' need on it. when i had a gateway computer, all you had to do was stick in the restoration disk and it would load and do all the restoring on practically it's own. i have a northgate computer now, and i put in a disk that says "Recover XP" figuring it woudl do the same thing. but all that came up were folders that i don't know what to do with or what to click. help!

Northgate ceased any support in April. When you get the folders about the only thing you can do is open them and look for what you want to do.

okay, but how do i get rid of everything else on my computer? the reason i'm trying to do this is because i think there are some viruses that my antivirus is not catching. and how do you konw what you want in the folders?

I have no knowledge of the Northgate boot cd's. You will have to open the help file or wait for someone who is knowledgable or search google for the answer.
