hyper transport

actualy, Hyper-Threading is called HTT Hyper-Threading Technology or HT Technology, but there is no abbreviation for hypertransport because of the common mistake people make.

so if i reduced to hyper transport multiplyer to put the cpu speed up would that make my comp faster or slower?

if you lower the hyper transport, but raise the fsb to compensate for it, it wil be faster.

Maybe they just haven't included it on the listings, they certainly have it though. All Intels have HT except some of the Dual Cores, but a lot of listings won't show that they do have it; could just be a situation like that.
