I've ordered a dell to atx converter to use a replacement power supply for my dell computer. I'm starting to wonder whether or not my computer will even need it...http://www.endpcnoise.com/cgi-bin/e/dellconverter.html

"Notes: If you are unsure if your Dell requires one of our Dell Power Supply Adapters, please take a close look at the Dell motherboard pictured at the top of this page and see if your motherboard has the extra connector pictured on the left."

Now look at the picture of the motherboard in this link...I don't think it has that extra connector pictured on the left...

i dont think it does...those converters are for the optiplex series..but i dont think a dell uses a standard size ATX power supply.

Yeah I have a Dell Optiplex GX620, but it only has one of those 24-pin connecters and not the other one. What does this mean?...Anyone know if I can use this thing or if I even need to?

Honsetly i'm running my mobo on a 20 pin connection. Its a 24 pin mobo. NOT A PROBLEM :) (YET)

Yeah but I heard that it'll totally mess up a dell mobo if I use a regular atx psu without a converter.
