It compresses data and you zip and unzip files easily. Is this what you were searching for? Hope it helps.
no... there's some sort of trial version, but for some reason, mine didn't expire after 30 days or whatever. But you should try. windows has a built in file compression but it's not nearly as good as winzip. there's also winrar, another type of file compression. you can use that too.
Well, I said that there's also winrar, unless you didn't read that part. Winzip is good for those everyday things but winrar is for the big bad 'uns, like when you want linux, it's in winrar format. yeah.
