Parts list anyone?

Damn straight, even tho i am currently building an AMD system, i don't like to take sides tho. I got your back tho =)

I would get the Pentium 4 630, it's 64-bit compatible, and pretty nice. I don't know much about intels, sooo, just look on newegg.com and see what you like, newegg rocks!

Do not get an Intel. They consume considerably more power than AMD CPU's, and if you're smart, you know that being energy-efficient is more important than having a CPU which can give you a bit of extra performance in certain areas.

Socket-754 Semprons are better than Celeron D's and Athlon 64's are cheaper and overall better than P4's.

But he said he must have an intel processor, i was just helping him out with what he asked.

Well, i definitely can't recommend any Intel CPU, for the fact that they consume too much power. AMD CPU's are way better for gaming and consume less power. That's a winner for any gamer imo.
