Power Supply Query

im not sure how power supplies on computers work. Im afraid of getting one with 2 much wattage, thinking it will fry my computer. Im afraid of getting one with 2 lil wattage, making it unstable... can i use a power supply with more than enough wattage, or do i hav to get one that is almost exact to the amount my parts use?

You can have wayyyy more than enough, your computer will only use as much as is necessary, it won't take all of it and die.

lol its not liek injecting heiroin, your computer wont injest it all at once, it jsut uses it like it needs to. i would suggest a 500w psu

this looks pretty nice, but it says below (connectors) p4 and xeon which are both intel processors. will this psu work with an amd athlon 64 3000+?

i heard the cords for that break easily, and yes it will work for both Intel and AMD computers.
