computer TV-Input/ TV-output

Hello,

My brother and I regulary use the output function of the pc, to display DIVX-films on the TV. The player that I am using is VLC. Now my brother managed it to get a full screen of the DIVX-movie that is playing, on the tv, and a minimized version on the computer. So he can work on his computer, while the DIVX-movie, playing on his computer, is screened full screen on the television. He managed this accidentally and doens't recall how he did it. I was wondering if I should look at VLC player how to do this, or at the advanced settings on my videocard, or maybe I need a special videocard?

What video card are you using? If its NVIDIA or ATI then you should be able to change it in the video card properties. It should be under some type of video overlay setting. Have fun.
