My first computer was a win 98 with 33mb ram and 1gb hard drive i dont even know what else was in it...i still got it matter of fact packed away under my bed...it was and still is very reliable
Well it is said computers can PHYSICALLY WORK for 10 years or so. Soyou still got about 3 years useage on it if you got it in 98. But I doubt it'll do ya any good nowadays.

I beg to differ, my AM386 still boots, and it is 17 years old now. It runs Windows 3.11 very slowly! It still posts with 0 ERRORS though. The RS1 silicon used back then on the 300nm scale was durable!
