I am telling you, call aspire and say this
"I ordered my PSU from you about a month ago its the (insert model here) and I kept it in its box until a few days ago when I received the rest of the parts for my new system and assembled it. I assure you everything is wired correctly as I have experience with this and have double checked all of it. I use the button and nothing happens, I know its the power supply because its the oldest part. I was wondering if you guys could help me get through this and if not I feel I should get a replacement or my money back.
They will nicely try and help you and you have to act like you care than ask for money back and you should get it.
