when you entere your username, remember not to enter the first bit i.e joeblogs@wanadoo.co.uk ,dont enter the joeblogs@ bit.

Isn't the username the "joeblogs" bit? wanadoo.co.uk is the domain name. Doesn't make much sense to put wanadoo.co.uk in the username space of your setup. Does make sense to put joeblogs in though.

sorry crosscech you might be getting it wrong.
what i am saying is that you only enter the words that follow the first @.
and for some reason all of wanadoos passwords have @fs at the end.
that is wanadoo for ya.

Yeah and there not freeserve anymore, btw i got it from my local pc shop and it might be going back

i got my dlink from my local shop. the guy who owns the shop came around my house to set it up for me, because i could not get it to work by using the manual!
he was at my house for three hours and still could not get it to work! his wirless laptop could get the signal, but my hardwired p.c would not work, nor my p.c on the wirless card.
i ended up ringing the customer service from dlink.
they changed a few settings and bingo it was working.

Ok log in to the router and type in your ISP's IP Address they should have given you one. and try that.
