Your first computer

well i remember when i was about 6 or sumtin at my house in Romania (thats where im from if you guys didnt know) we had some old apple or some other thing that looked like an apple. i used to play moonlander on it cuz that game was the s**t! MY actual first ever computer was the one i built, and apparently someone is giving me an old pc tommorrow cuz he got a new one and i think its a laptop. at least now i can play moonlander in skool lol. jus kidding im prolly gonna take it apart or use it depending on how bad it is.

Way back in the day, my parents picked me up from school and took me over to this custom computer place to surprise me with a new computer. Man, that was exciting.

Anyway, it had Windows 3.1 and a 75MHz Pentium. Less than 1GB hard drive, I believe, and probably 8 or 16 MB RAM. I remember tinkering with it a lot. My first forays into porn were on that comp, and my mom saw me on Playboy.com one day. I was like thirteen or fourteen. Man, that was embarrassing.

We had it for many years, though. It's life finally ended when I formatted it to fix some problem, and I didn't know what to do after that. Oops. Oh, then I fried the CPU by running it without the fan. Oops again. Haha. I've definitely learned a lot since then.

It served me well, though. Oh yeah, it came with Doom and Doom 2 and Wheel of Fortune! Oh man, it was great.

Doom and Doom 2 were the greatest games for old computers EVER.

Dont remember really, dont really care.. OMG.. why??? Those "PCs" are ancient history. I think my first was an AppleII... if you consider that a PC.... :)

My first computer:

-Intel Pentium II running at 400mhz
-64mb of PC100 RAM
-Some random crap motherboard
-Intel 1740 AGP Video Card w/ 8mb of RAM
-Samsung 6.4GB Hard Drive
-ETECH 56k Modem Card
-Yamaha 16-bit Sound Card
-Toshiba 2x DVD-ROM
-Beige ATX Tower
-250w PSU
-Microsoft Windows 98 (later upgraded to Windows 2000)

The good ol' days of lagging...I will miss you forever :(

hehehe theyre some GOLDEN OLDIES for sure!

i have our old computer that ive sorta claimed for myself down in my room. its running an AMD Duron 800Mhz CPU with 128MB RAM, a 16MB vid card, and no HDD (im looking for one asap so i can throw Win98 on it to play the old games that XP wont play!!!) its got onboard sound a 40(write)x32(rewrite)x48(read) CD RW and a stuffed 36x CDROM in it along with a 3.5" floppy drive.

The first computer that the family had was secnd hand from friends when they upgraded. we got a 486/DX CPU, 8MB RAM, dont know what the vid card was, onboard sound, and a 513MB HDD!!!! WOOO!!!! it was a BEAST!

now i want a TOP LINE system and the broken one with a HDD. so i can play my old games and change a few chords and play new games! EASY!

Comadore 64! with a tape drive yet. It would take a half hour to load a text based game. And you had to load the game everytime you turned off the PC.
