Music Editing software

Hi i wanted to know if there is any software (hopefully free) that i can get so i can edit my mp3's to shorter so i can put them on my fone and have my favourite bit on the song as my ringtone

Go here and get Audacity, which is freeware. There's some free plugins there as well that will make editing a breeze... http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

You could use DietMP3,it can minimize the file size from 5MB to 800KB. Cool Edit Pro is also a good software when it comes to editing audio files.
