If the touchpad fails to work after you tinker with the drivers and cleaning it, you can always plug in a separate mouse. I find that works best with me. I just can't get use to the little built in pointer or touchpad mouse.

Yeah right, i bet it would not be able to because you will have to dismantle the whole lappy.

I didn't mean that they could do it on there own, however if they wanted to, it really isn't that hard to do.

Anyway its probably better to use an external mouse in that case though.

i do use the external mouse more, i only use the touch mouse at night, so i dont wake up anyone, cause they're grumpy if there woken
Edit: oh yea, forgot to post it the first time, it works now, i cleaned it as good as i could and restarted.
