Improving typing speed

Hey everyone, I'm new to this forum, and I have a computer related issue that needs to be addressed.

Since middle school, i have been an extremely slow typer. I was wondering if there's any simple typing software out there that can improve my words per minute - like some free shareware download or something.

This has really been getting to me for awhile. Any help is much appreciated.

peace.

lol don't they teach you that stuff in computer class? Well that's what my teacher would try teaching us anyway, but I was always a fast typer anyway so didn't do me much good. I don't know any programs you can get other than the ones in school which is why I mentioned computer class, but I don't know how you would find those programs outside of the school. Google maybe?

Yeah, maybe I need to get some professional help with this. I should have picked up on this years ago. Maybe I'll take that test again and see if i can get a better score. Thi sis so damn pathetic.

I found typing in forums help my typing speed, especially if there's a chat feature. Something simple as that goes a long way. I've used programs before, but they make me nervous and I get pretty low scores. When I type in here, I feel comfortable and type the crap out of my fingers and keyboard.

i'm a fast look at the keyboard one finger typer . i can't do the hole home row no looking typing, lol. talk on msn and stuff it really helps.

you can have all the typing speed in the world and it will not do you a bit of good if you can't get it typed so that a normal person could understand it.
All the hy-bred stuff and all the short stroking for misspelling that goes on doesn't justify a typing speed.
I and most others would be more than glad to settle for less speed and more accuracy

Didn't help me spelling. By you learn where the keys are real fast. Not only that its a lot of fun.

Just playing around made 74 words a min 86% first round about bet if I tried I could get it up to 90 words
