I tried running it with the bare minimum (cpu/cpu heatsink/ ram / gpu) and it still wouldn't post and nothing came up on the monitor

All the fans are running, but there aren't an beeps or boops or anything

Is there someone audio switch i'm supposed to connect or something?

no, exept the PC speaker on the spaker port. If t's installed, your mobo's fried I'm afraid

something that you're supposed to plug into the comp. It's usually situated at the front inside the case. It's usually a cylindric shape figure that make the computer beeps. You plugged it?

what is the "system warning speaker"?
the asus manual says that it should be a plug from the chassis but the only plugs from the chassis are the case fans, some led stuff, firewire, usb, ear & mic, and the power and reset plugs

So yea, since I don't think I have this plug, is that the reason why I hear no beeps?
