That's what my error message is. I have no idea what the cause of the error is, but I do know that it happens always when I play the BF2 demo and rarely in CS:S. Here's the full message:

Error:
!!! QueryDosDevice failed.
Insufficient system resource exist to complete the requested service.

Any ideas on what to do? Here are my specs:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Gig of PC3200 RAM
ATi Radeon 9600SE (boo burnt 5900ultra)
20~gb left on HardDrive (SATA)

And I have no idea, but there's this RAID tool sitting around in my PC.

Maybe you GPU(graphic card) is over heating and shutting down. if it has a safty temp it would resart your computer though. when was the last time you checked your temps?

My nVidia card had a temperature reader in its options, but not my ati card, the one I'm using. And apparently, everest doesn't sense the card's temperatures either. All I know is that CPU and motherboard are around 41ºC and HD is at 35ºC.
