Capturing Video Through S-Video Port

I just got an MSI 6600GT AGP and it has an S Video port as well as several cables. I tried connecting the wires to my camcorder to capture video, but I had no idea what program to use

windows movie maker can be used...

what is the specific make/model of your card.
usually cards that have video in capabilities come with video capture software, it could be that your card doesn't actually support video capture...

(I have the same chipset on the card as my parents FX520 -yes it's old enough -who cares)...

they spent a little more than me, so they have video capture in their Svideo, whilst I only have video out on my Svideo port.
