Well both the Xbox and PlayStation 2 launched at $299, so that's no biggie. It's like the set standard for them (not anymore for Sony).

Don't believe all the crap Sony and Microsoft come out with.

Being in the computer business, I know that if companies such as IBM and Nvidia allowed there components to be used in consoles which were faster then PC's, they would lose a business-threatening amount of money.

Don't worry PC-lovers. The computer will always lead the way in technology terms.

You better believe it. All the hardware in the Xbox 360 and PS3 are confirmed. Computers only lead the way because of their expandability.

Sony is cutting back more things on the PS3 to help reduce comsumer sost for the unit.

Doesn't make a difference to me at all. I'm only buying my PS3 for the games. I might think about doing online, but I'm mainly getting it for its exclusive titles.
