Steam Issues

It locked up again Osak. The thing is, is when I analyze the drive after it freezes up a bunch of Steam files are fragmented again. My drive is like 86% empy....

Hmm i have got no clue on whats going on, i would check out the steam forums and see what they have to say about your problem

I just did a lot of messing around with it. I increased the size of my virtual memory and I used a program that moved it to the front of the hard drive. I just played it again and it froze up and then crashed to desktop with looping sounds so it might be a sound problem.

The Steam fourms don't help because some say it is your hardware and others say it is something wrong with the software and Steam refuses to fix it. I am going to see if I have the latest drivers for sound and then fiddle around with it to see if I can figure it out.

That would be your best be and if that doesnt work i would Email steam and ask theem whats going on.
