Well the way to allow certain services access to the internet is different in SP2 that in is in SP1...

I can't remeber how off the top of my head, so you'll have to wait until after the weekend when I get home... unless I find a computer here with SP2 on it. so I can post some port opening instructions...

(or unless someone beats me to it...).

i figured out how anyways its configured like u said...try it local host 8080 doesnt work etiher

well I suggest you go back to using port 80 if you've since found out it could have been a firewall problem...

allow the port 80 to be mapped from the outside to the local machine, have the server running on port 80...

god i wish i would have tken that networking class when i had the chance. what do u mean by mapped?
