Hello i am an ametuer in the field of web designing and i am wondering knows any good 'novice' programs that can easily show me and point me in the directions to make a good web page.

Well if you can afford it you should get Macromedia Dreamweaver, great for html and other computer languages such as Java.
But if you would like alternative, you can use the free HTML kit that you can download from download.com and the website. Or you can use Microsoft Frontpage, which is basic but does its job.
