building a new pc

Yes, the wafer on the 6600GT can handle a lot more heat and can execute commands faster then the 9800XT, let alone that pro card. As far as the CPU goes, the 3000+ venice can be OCed to 3500+ levels with EASE. They are both designed on a newer silicon sythesis, therefore making them superior to previous cores on CPUs and GPUs. The 6600GT can handle ANY GAME on MAX SETTINGS with excellent FPS (80-200)! :D

BTW, there is no SUCH thing as dual channel RAM. That is all in the motherboard. How much money do we have left to deal with? I will estimate and go out on a limb and show you some good parts (PCIe mobo and RAM) Ready?

EXCELLENT RAM:

Yeah, Darkblade knows what hes talking about, and I got a 3500+ stupidly, and didn't realise I could have just overclocked it with my motherboard, and uGuru is a great piece of kit to have, I have it on my ABIT motherboard, but mines the AV8 :)

Yep, your all set. Loving the hardware! :D

well im not looking to OC it THAT much, mayb max around 3500+ from 3000+, so is there anything else that isnt so expensive lol
