New RAM - cant boot PC

Got 2 sticks of new RAM. Exactly same as my other 2 sticks except different make.

No matter what combination i try, i cant get them to work. The pc powers up, with the green and orange light on constantly, but the monitor never powers up.

Could both of these RAM sticks be damaged?

Have you tried only one RAM stick at a time?
Does your mobo supports 2GB RAM?

Yes ive tried each stick in all 4 slots.
And yes it supports 4GB.

Return memory. These sticks are useless. Hope you can get two other for free

ummmmm.. lhuser you are not sure if the sticks are useless.... how do you know that your monitor works right..

It might not be both chips that are broke. Only one would have had to go to make it not boot up right.

Ive tried with only 1 stick.

Oh by the way, incase it helps, the pc beeps with some combinations of the new ram.
Also the pc doesnt boot to bios with no ram at all in it.
