Hey everyone, I am moving into a new house soon and I'm getting a 60" Sony LCD Projection TV, to which I would like to connect a computer with a ton of hard drive space so I can store movies, TV shows, games, etc... What price range am I looking at if I want a computer with decent speed and a ton of HD? Oh and it has to have wireless internet.

Well, something under $1000 won't give you good. As for HDs,...an external 1.6TB?

Also, it's recommended to get Windows XP MCE 2005 for plugging the TV to your comp. Get a Media Center designed comp and let's see the price and specs

I think if you can build your own computer, it would be much cheaper and it is much better also. that's what i do..

As long as it can handle the video output for the TV.

That's what I meant a Media Center designed PC...

But still, I also agree with him

As for Wireless, do whatever you want and get whatever you need...just avoid cement and other disturbing things
