I Really Need Help Plz :)

hey all ok this is my question my computer specs are pentium 4 HT-( hyper threading) with a radeon 9550 with 256ram on it and i have 512 ram and my computer lags like a bitch on BF2 and world of warcraft it laggs abit and my FSB is 800mhz

but my freinds computer is a p4 no HT with 2.40 ghz processer and has 1 gig of ram with a radeon 9200 with 128 ram on it and runs faster then mind and i cant seem to figure out why this is he said he has some perfromance program but yeah plz help me..

Well have you done the basics.. like run basic optimization programs (such as defragmenting?). Do that first.. before you question if there is something wrong with the hardware.

yeah i did all that its just i dont c why BF2 lags so much

download everst home edition and it'll tell you. And then we all can know. Just google everest home edition download.

its says pc3200 ddr sdram

that's fast also check if your ram is dual channeling. It should say it on there at the specs of your mobo or your ram.

Also update your drivers because they could need an upgrade that comes with them.
