Well I'm updating my comp. Well I got a 420 watt PSU. Now my current system is 512 MB Ram, 1.2 Ghz AMD, Geforce 5200, and a ASUS Nvidida2 mobo. Now i'm wondering if my next set up which is a extreme geforce 6600GT, 1 GB corsair ram nforce4ATX mobo, will my CPU be able to handle it? In time I will upgrade to 600. But thats not excatly anytime soon.

In my opnion, you should upgrade your processor as well, or might as well buy a whole new system. After all, you can get a 3200 nowadays for less than 200 bucks.

O yea i'm doing that too. Getting a AMD 3200 and won't OC it till i get my liquid cooling. Think i'll go for 2.4 int he long run.

A 420watt is PLENTY for the 6600GT and 1GB of RAM and even a dual core AMD with many many drives connected. Do not worry about that. :D

Np man. The 6600GT is a EXCELLENT GPU BTW, it can play ANYTHING on high graphics with NO LAG and very high FPS and resolutions.

I know I heard about that. Think i'll get one that can support dual mointors as well :)
