Looks good. You don't need a CD and/or DVD writer? You might as well just get one (unless that already is one). Where are you ordering from? NewEgg.com has awesome service. I had my stuff a day early, and it was at my door in the morning instead of afternoon.

1 gig? that's kinda being stengy on the memory. battlefield 2 runs best on 2 gigs.

OMFG.... RwetGuy... he is on a budget... 2GBs is like what I have... jeez... I mean... maybe if his budget was 2K or something... give him a little break here.

Will, here you go, here is that parts list I promised you. Ready to ROCK?

CASE: I usually don't do this one for people, but here is what I think looks neat for a good price.

Graphics Card: If you plan on upgrading in the future, then get a card that can play everything on HIGH quality with NO (ZERO) LAG and high FPS that is just to get you by. Namely... the INFAMOUS 6600GT card. Ask anyone on here, these things SCREAM for the money.

Speakers: Good sound for the price.

Monitor: The MAX RESOLUTION on this monitor is VERY GOOD. I would really recommend this one. Although, it does push your budget out of the way a bit.. but not much.

Sorry it is wee bit over, but this setup will SCREAM and Overclock like CRAZY, and all the parts are of the highest QUALITY you can buy.

Hey how is that logitech 5.1 70 watts? How loud is it for you. I'm looking at sound systems and was wondering.

They are actually fairly decent... i dont use them, have a friend who does. I use Klipsch ProMedia 5.1Ultras.

Both the system posted are great gaming rigs, as for the 2gigs yea battlefield 2 runs its best on 2gigs but then again ANY game will run its best on 2gigs, if your low on money 1gig is PLENTY to play most games :)

Dude 1 GB is plently. Thing about ram is. You can upgrade it easly later on. So just save up and buy a extra gig and you'll be ahead of the game :)
